[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원외국인근로자지원센터는 외국인 주민과 함께하는 2024년 ‘하모예
축제’를 마산실내체육관에서 개최했다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 ‘하모예 축제’는 ‘하머니 위드 포리너스, 예스 렛츠 겟 투게더’(Harmony with foreigners! Yes! Let’s
go together!)란 구호로 축약하고, 긍정의 의미가 담긴 경남지역 사투리 ‘하모’에 착안해서 축제명칭을
처음으로 사용하는 것으로 경상남도와 창원시에서 공동으로 주관하고 창원외국인근로자지원센터에서
외국인근로자와 주민들을 위로하기 위해 마련됐다.
최형두 의원과 외국인 13인 기수단과 함께하는 퍼포먼스(우리는 하나다)를 시작으로 ▲유공자표창과
내빈축사, 축하공연 등의 기념식과 ▲한마음 체육대회, 세계음식나눔, 댄스타임, 재활치료, 이미용 네일
아트, 안전VR체험 등 문화 다양성 증진 체험부스도 운영되어, 외국인 주민과 우리 시민이 하나되는 즐
겁고 행복한 추억을 만드는 행사였다.
박완수 경남도지사는 축전을 통해 “경남 경제와 산업에 기여하고 계시는 외국인 근로자 여러분들의 노력과
헌신에 깊이 감사드린다” 고 말하고 이번 행사가 서로 소통하고 하나가 되는 소중한 자리가 되길 바라면서,
“외국인 근로자 여러분의 꿈과 목표를 응원하며, 함께한 모든분들께 행복하고 건강하길 기원한다”고 말했다.
